The DISC creates a feeling of exclusivity in a relaxed environment. For the design of the DISC, Dutch design studio Piet Boon looked at the DOME and redefined the shapes of the base, the arch and the dome. By playing with proportions and looking at specific aesthetic dimensions and shapes, the design has acquired its own Piet Boon signature.
The various components are made of stainless steel and aluminum, suitable for all weather conditions. The four available colours – matching the Piet Boon colour palette – give each room a timeless Studio Piet Boon character.
The DISC has a power of 3100 watts. The HT+ technology generates up to 25% more heat with the same consumption. In addition, it is also equipped with lighting, which gives a beautiful effect in the golden interior.
With the remote control you can set the heating and the lamp separately: the heating has 2 positions and the lamp is dimmable.
The DISC is a beautiful design element on your terrace, but can also be used very well indoors. A large or high room does not need to be fully heated, because the DISC has a large heating range and creates an unforgettable atmosphere.

The DOME consists of a central heating element with an additional lamp, and a hood, the ‘DOME’, which both protects and reflects the far-infrared rays. The central element is called ‘Heattube’. The lower part contains a ‘heating block’ with 5 rectangular heating elements and 1 round. Above the heating element is a halogen lamp, separated from the heating element. The lamp consists of an R7S 78 mm halogen bulb behind a heat-resistant glass. The glass can be removed upwards to replace the halogen lamp. Due to the great heat, the use of an LED lamp is not possible, because LEDs cannot withstand such temperatures.
The DISC foot comes standard with 130 kg weight. The foot must be filled with concrete stones or pavers for extra stability.
